October's Feature – Greek Style Slim Pen
My feature for October 2007 is a new type of slim twist pen for me, called a Greek Style pen.. The pen is a variation
off the classic slim twist pen with an upgraded ornate centreband, and an fresh looking pocket clip. The centreband
features indented shapes that are reminiscent of ancient Greek architectural accents.
The pen also has upgraded 24 karat gold plated hardware. Upgraded gold contains some trace elements to
improve the wear characteristics of the gold plating over standard 24k gold plating.
The pen shown here is made from purpleheart, a delightful wood with strong purple hues in the colouring. This is
the natural colour of the wood. See the purpleheart page for more information on this wood.
