October's Feature – A New Wood Lathe: A recent addition to my shop this spring was a new Delta
46-460 wood lathe. The larger 12" swing and 1 horsepower motor is allowing me to turn some
larger items than in the past. Stay tuned for more pictures of larger turned items.
Thanks for viewing my web site; I would love to hear your feedback. Also, please send me any

Exposing the beauty that God weaves into wood ...
The Delta lathe is a nice
machine, strong enough
for some larger turnings,
accurate enough to use
for small pen turning.
My old lathes are still in use on the side of my
shop. The Ryobi lathe on the left has the bed
shortened and is in use as a buffer. The
Mastercraft mini lathe on the right is still in
use for making pens and small
woodturnings.
