For September we are featuring a wood again, specifically
Redheart, a uncommon wood from Central America and
South America. This wood is often bright Red in colour. This
colour can go darker with exposure to high heat and / or sunlight.
It is important to store a Redheart pen properly. A hot day on the
dash of the car can drastically darken the wood colour.
Thanks for viewing. Please fell free to send me comments and

Shown are images of redheart pens in a slim
style twist pen. These pens were done for a large
order I did recently. The pens are all cut from the
same block of wood, yet you can see the variation
in colour from the wood. This block of wood had
red, black, brown and yellow colours mixed in.
